Join our dynamic team as a Mid-Level SQA Engineer in the Information Technology industry. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software products through testing and quality assurance processes. Responsibilities
- Lead the software quality assurance efforts by designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures to ensure high product quality and reliability.
- Execute test cases, analyze results, identify defects, and track issues to resolution, maintaining meticulous documentation throughout the testing process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage, provide feedback on product quality, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes.
- Develop and implement automated testing solutions to streamline testing activities, increase efficiency, and enhance overall test coverage.
- Analyze quality metrics, generate reports, and present findings to stakeholders, contributing to data-driven decision-making and quality improvement initiatives.
Must-have skills
- In-depth knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools; essential for ensuring product quality and reliability.
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks like Selenium or Appium; crucial for enhancing testing efficiency and coverage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure robust software quality.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in testing processes to maintain high standards of product quality.
Nice to have
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB); enhances credibility and expertise in quality assurance practices.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner; beneficial for optimizing software performance.
- Knowledge of security testing concepts and tools; valuable for ensuring robust software security measures.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines; advantageous for seamless software delivery.
- Understanding of cloud testing principles and tools; beneficial for testing cloud-based applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in software testing methodologies and tools
