Responsibilities

Lead the development of complex web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability across platforms and devices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and functionalities for web projects.
Oversee the optimization of web applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring seamless user experiences.
Manage the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement in web development.

Must-have skills

Expertise in developing responsive web applications with a focus on user experience and performance optimization
Proficient in both frontend and backend development, with a solid understanding of web architecture
Strong knowledge of web security principles and common vulnerabilities, with the ability to implement secure coding practices
Experience in leading web development projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality results
Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and other team members to achieve project goals

Nice to have

Knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS or Azure for web application deployment
Experience with containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
UI/UX design skills to contribute to the visual aspects of web projects
Understanding of SEO principles and best practices for web development
Certifications in relevant technologies or project management

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular
Strong backend development skills using languages like Python, Java, or Node.js
Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
In-depth knowledge of web application security best practices and protocols
Proven track record in project management and agile methodologies
Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex web applications efficiently
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Experience with version control systems like Git
